Apple leaks reveal iPhone 7 will come in ‘piano black’ and ‘space black’

WE’RE used to hearing things described as the new black.

But when it comes to the upcoming iPhone 7, that phrase could become a mouthful because Apple is rumoured to be planning to unveil TWO different shades of the darkest colour.

The iPhone 7 is expected to be released in gold, silver, rose gold (pink) , “space black” and “piano black”, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed yesterday.

The Apple expert known as “Ming the Merciless” works at KGI Securities. He previously predicted bad things for Apple and said the next iPhone won’t have “many attractive selling points“.

Yet that hasn’t stopped him from setting out everything he knows about the upcoming smartphone.

Here’s what he says we’ve got to look forward to when it’s released tomorrow.

The analyst believes rumours about plans to remove the headphone jack are true.

This would mean everyone has to fork out for new headphones or buy special ones with the right connector.

Water surprise

This is an invitation to the launch of the iPhone 7

There’s nothing more annoying than dropping your phone down the toilet and ruining it forever.

Now it looks like the iPhone 7 will be more waterproof than any other Apple smartphone which has gone before.

It should be able to withstand beer, showers, splashes and even “brief dips” into one metre deep water.

Bigger is better

It looks like the iPhone 7 will come with either 32 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB worth of storage.

We’ve estimated the largest model will allow you to store about 250,000 selfies.

So it’s lucky there’s a nice new camera to take advantage of all that extra memory

The larger iPhone 7 Plus is expected to come with a smart new camera with two lenses, which may mean you’ll be able to take 3D images.

This tech works by taking images from two different lens and then combining them.

The dual camera could also allow better images in low light and also be used to create cool, unusual photographic effects.
