Meghan Markle fails to hide huge baby bump under £2,500 outfit

Meghan Markle looked glamorus today at Meyhew in London as the Duchess visited an animal charity. The heavily pregnant Duchess showed off a huge baby bump. Her white dress revealed her slender pins and the actress appeared to carry a Stella McCartney bag. The Duchess spoke to staff as a dog happily ran around her feet.

Meghan carried the Stella McCartney Falabella Tote Bag in ivory, which costs £815.

Stella McCartney is an apt choice for an animal sanctuary, as the British designer is strictly vegan and cruelty-free.

The designer is the daughter of Beatles singer Paul McCartney.

Meghan’s dress is reported to be from high street shop H&M and cost £25.

Kensington Royal tweeted: “Today The Duchess of SusS3x is visiting @TheMayhew — a grassroots charity working in a unique way to improve the lives of animals and people to better communities both in London and internationally.”

The account added: “In 2018 handled 1061 animal welfare cases, neutered 12,109 cats and dogs overseas, rehomed 98 dogs and 380 cats, vaccinated 32,431 dogs against rabies  and educated 111,097 adults and children in India.”

Meghan has become the patron of the charity.

Mayhew tweeted: “We’re honoured to reveal that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of SusS3x has become a Patron of Mayhew.

We’re thrilled that HRH shares our commitment to improving the lives of animals and people, and are excited to make a difference together. @KensingtonRoyal”

Meghan wore the Emporio Armani Cream Cashmere Coat.

A similar coat can be purchased from Lyst £241, a 23 per cent price drop.

Her shoes were there Manolo Blahnik Allura 105 sandals. These are sold out online, but similar pairs from the same designer cost around £585.23.

She added her Birks Pétale Yellow Gold Earrings, which cost £876.49

Victoria Murphy, a royal journalist tweeted: “Meghan’s decision to wear @hm today will undoubtably be a big boost for the very affordable high street brand.

Another royal Duchess, Kate Middleton wore a purple ensemble today worth £2,700. 

Kate wore an Oscar De La Renta jacket and skirt combo which she has worn twice before.

The future Queen visited the costume department of the Royal Opera House to learn about their use of textiles, commissioning of fabrics and supply chain.

Yesterday the Duchess of Cambridge visited Islington.

She talked about the merits of gardening with school children.
