Nigeria national football team, has arrived Freetown, Sierra Leone for their return leg match against Leone stars following Friday’s shocking 4-4 draw in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Super Eagles flew out of Nigeria today and arrived the Freetown airport few hours ago for the match scheduled to be played on Tuesday.
Photos of their arrival was shared via the Super Eagles official Twitter page, and Nigerians who are not happy over their bottling of a dominant lead blasted them and made fresh demands of what is expected from the match.
Recall that Eagles hosted the Leone stars on Friday at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City, Edo state where they earned an early 4-0 lead following an amazing start thanks to a brace from Alex Iwobi and goals from Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze.
However, the visitors scored late in the first half before pulling off an amazing comeback in the second half of the match.
